Hoylake 13 Sefton 20

Despite being accidentally locked in their dressing room shortly before the start, Sefton made up for the experience by twice coming from behind to win.

Man-of-the-Match Mark Tyms, Frank Harper, Robin Earwaker and

Paul Evangelides led the way as Sefton scored tries through Damien Stretton, Robin Earwaker and a penalty try.

Roy Spencer had to go off at half time due to a late tackle by a bottle of Budwieser.
